Parish Records
Many Parish Records have been put onto microfilm and can be viewed at your local County Record Office. You can expect to find entries from the Parish Church Register as well as Poor Law records, surveys, maps and wills. It is a good idea to phone ahead incase you need to book a place and go with a clear idea of what or who you are looking for rather than getting bogged down in swathes of records with no real focus.
