What to expect:

This is our most comprehensive research package for those who wish to extend the research to include every branch of their family tree. Depending on available data we will chart your family history as far back and as widely as we can. Our record so far has been to discover an individual born in about 1130AD! However, not every family will have documentation as far-reaching as this.

  • 18 hours of in-depth research work
  • 16 hours of documentation and presentation work
  • In-depth genealogical report covering all researched relatives (30+ pages)
  • Copies of 3 relevant BMD certificates or census reports
  • Poster sized Family Tree Chart
  • History of your ancestors' surnames
  • Your coat of arms, if available, on parchment paper

Birth, Marriage & Death Certificates
These are invaluable documents for progressing your family history back through the first 100-150 years, which is often the most difficult period. BMD certificates will tell you ages, locations, legal and maiden names and can clear up many family myths by themselves! If you no longer have any living relatives who can help you with this, Family Detective can order copies of BMD certificates on your behalf. We will happily discuss this with you upon application.
